I have been representing residents of the Hudson Valley for over 40 years as a prior Chief Assistant District Attorney, criminal defense attorney, litigator, real estate attorney, and by providing legal advice to clients for all their legal needs. This includes criminal matters, DWI/DUI cases, real estate matters, traffic and motor vehicle cases, corporate and commercial law issues, wills, and general legal matters.

I also regularly appear in the criminal courts throughout Rockland County and Sullivan County.

Toniann Vance
Toniann Vance joined Alan L. Joseph, Esq. in December of 1995 as a secretary/paralegal. Toniann guides clients through the process of buying and selling their homes in Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Rockland Counties. She is responsible for all aspects of the real estate transaction from client intake, preparation of Contracts and Riders, communications with lenders, realtors, the title company, and law firms, as well as client preparation for closing. A graduate of Berkeley College in Waldwick, New Jersey, Toniann is also a licensed New York State Notary.
